Went to Tea of Life at The Mines for dinner with Feng. Food was okay but prices are way to high -_-

Our drinks were served in a very pretty way~

But it's just soft drinks la hahahahaha

My food came first! :D Buckwheat noodles or smth

Tasted really good but I didn't quite like the soup...
Not my cup of tea I guess coz Feng liked it

I still like the conventional ones with tomato paste or white sauce better

Went to Annexe Gallery for the Art for Grabs event last Sunday (I know, it's already like what, Wednesday now? I am such a procrastinator in updating my blog ~~and a whole lot of other stuff as well~~) and met up with Joan and Agnes again :D

It was a 2 days event (20th n 21st) and I really wanted to go there on Saturday coz there were so many programs and performances scheduled but I couldn't make it :( Was too busy~sigh... I've been wanting to see Kinky Blue Fairy's bald look upclose haha~Oh and I was also really eager to go to Fleur De Lis organized by Yien Yee but it's at Bangsar and I didn't have transport to go there *cries*

Nevermind, there's always a next time!

Art for Grabs was really fun btw! Got to see all sorts of arts for sale and some gave part of their proceeds to charity~

Overall the event was a great experience (Eh macamlah I got go there sell stuff) coz I got to see all sorts of artwork (people there are really creative and their stuffs are just so gorgeous) and also meet new people :) Thank you Joan and Agnes for the cupcake and soya drink and your hospitality (I damn kacau at their booth hahahaha)! Hope that there are more events like this in the future to promote the Malaysian art industry ;D

Read this from Mark's blog (he got it from another forumer) today and thought that the story's pretty touching. It's quite long though ;)

~only love~

Part 1

It's a cold February night. People are bustling through the streets, either pulling up their coat collars or wrapping scarves around their necks, trying to stay warm.
It's so cold today.I'm standing at my window, looking at the people moving like little dots. Standing in a heated room, I'm beginning to pity those people. Why don't they go home? Do they plan on wandering until morning?
"Almost time to go home! My boyfriend must be going crazy." One of the nurses breathe a sign of relief. "Still needs to work overtime on Valentine's Day. It's so unfair!"
"You are fortunate." Another nurse says. "Some people don't have anyone waiting for them."
"You mean Dr. Shu?"
Like Sherlock Holmes, my ears perk up when I hear my name.
"Do you remember how she lost control on this day last year?"
"Of course I do." A nurse shudders. "I've never seen Dr. Shu like that. Crying and yelling, like she was crazy."
They are talking about how I was last year. They are correct. I was out of control, like they said.
"You can't blame Dr. Shu. If my boyfriend died in front of my eyes, I would probably go crazy as well."
"Keep it down. She hasn't left work yet. She might hear you."
The two nurses are too late. I heard the entire conversation through the canvas wall.
"Dr. Shu, what are you doing standing here?"
Just as I was deciding whether or not to reveal myself, another nurse exposed me. I awkwardly step out. The 2 nurses who discussed me start to blush. Their faces became redder than the bow on Valentine's Day chocolates.
"I'm waiting to go home." I pretend that I didn't hear anything.
"Dr. Shu, you must have gotten too involved in your work. It's already past time to go home. See you tomorrow. Happy Valentine's Day!" She waves goodbye.
"Happy Valentine's Day." I wave back and watch the 2 nurses hurry away.
That's fine. I was ready to go home anyway. Even though no lover is waiting
for me, at least there's a lazy cat waiting for me to feed.
After I come home, the first thing I do is feed the cat. I forgot when I first had the cat. Probably since last year's Valentine's Day. At that time, I was like an abandoned cat, with eyes filled with despair. Cats don't cry, I do. That's the only difference.
"Better drink all the milk or I'll skin you." I threatened the cat. Her name is Christine, my least favorite English name. I don't know why I named the cat Christine. Christine meowed once to let me know she heard me, but her eyes are complaining about my severity. Her eyes remind me of someone I used to know, standing in front of me with eyes of rebellions.
An year ago today, I had lunch with my boyfriend and took the opportunity to complain to him.
"Today is Valentine's Day. Why didn't you give me any flowers?"
He raised his eyebrow. "Why should I give you flowers? You are not my anyone."
"Then... you should at least give me a card!" I pouted my lips, hurt by his tone.
"I know, I know. After lunch, I'll send you an e-card."
E-card. That sounds so impersonal, but that's the way he is. "You have to e-mail it to me. I'll be waiting." I excitedly smiled and planned to sneak home after lunch to check e-mail. Even though he wouldn't use any romantic words, I still looked forward to the card.
"I can't stand you women. Why do you make such a big deal out of Valentine's Day??" He grumbled while eating his food. His comment induced me to fight with him again.
"You are not romantic at all!! Don't you watch any Japanese drama?"
"Japanese drama? I only watch Discovery Channel."
"Your life is so boring." I made a face at him. "One recent drama was really good. You should have watched it."
"What's that drama called?" He didn't believe in the love portrayed in TV and movies. He always thought they were lies.
"It's called 'Story of A Century'." I gladly answered.
"What kind of trashy plot did it have?"
"What do you mean trash?? Show some respect!" I was so angry. "That drama was very touching, and the theme song was beautiful as well. It's called 'Only Love', performed by Nana Mouskouri." I wonder if he knew who Nana was.
"Nana, I know her. A Greek singer with really expensive albums."
"Her voice is worth it." Even though I secretly agreed with him, I couldn't bring myself to admit it.
"Whatever." He glanced at his watch. "I'll give you 5 minutes to tell me the plot. After that, I'm leaving."
I tried hard to explain 6 hours worth of story in just 5 minutes. The drama portrayed the love stories of 3 generations of women spanning 100 years, from 1901 to 2000. Each generation was portrayed by the same actress. The story was tear-jerking.
"What's so touching about it?" He asked, after listening to the story.
"Don't you think each generation's story is wonderful? If I have such great screen writing ability, I wouldn't be a doctor anymore. I would become a screenwriter."
"If you become a screenwriter, I bet no one would watch the show. The TV station can go out of business." He quickly interjected.
"I'm going back to work. Hurry and send me the card!" I was so mad that I went home immediately, not even finishing my coffee.
As soon as I walked in my door, I turned on my computer and go online.

Staring at the empty in-box, I began to reminisce about how we met. Maybe no one will believe me, but my boyfriend and I were actually neighbors. Our homes were only 1 wall away. Ever since we were kids, we liked to fight with each other all day long. I still remember when I moved to the country that year. Used to the city life, I couldn't get used to the simple life in the country. After school, I would just go home and do nothing. Whenever that happened, he would always come over to tease me.
"Why are you staring off into space??" He loved to pull on my hair. "You're so ugly when you're doing nothing. But you're also not pretty when you smile." In other words, I'm really ugly.

Part 2

"You're the one who's ugly!" I pull back my hair. "If you think I'm so ugly, why do you visit me??"
"Can't help it. My home is right next to your home." He argued.
"Then I'll move!" The next day, I drew a line in the ground using some white chalk. A line that I forbid him to cross.
That year, we were both in the 5th grade. We couldn't stand each other and hoped the other would move away. But 5 years passed, and neither of us moved. Not only that, we got into the same high school and into the same class.
"You're that infamous couple." All the students and teachers in the school would say whenever they saw us.
"We're not!" I always tried to explain. "We're only neighbors." At that time, I hated my parents for making us live next to him.
"My standard is not that low." He would say. "Who wants her to be a girlfriend?? It's not like I don't have eyes."
"Yes, I know your eyes are on top of your head." I really disliked him. "Better than having eyes on the bottom of my head like you." He implied that I couldn't judge guys. At that time, I had a crush on a senior.
I didn't think that his sarcasm had a hidden meaning. After a while, I found out that the senior student had lots of girlfriends. When I cried about it, he silently passed me a handkerchief and awkwardly held me in his arms.
"I told you he wasn't any good." He roughly comforted me. I cried in his arms the whole night, and began to see him in a different way. Things began to change between us. We still fought all the time, but he started to look at me differently. And I blushed and my heart beat faster when he was near. We both knew: we fell in love with each other.
Even with this knowledge, neither of us said anything. Even though we would not be able to resist and kissed each other constantly. Even though we cared about each other's every moves. Both of us refused to admit our love.
Time flew by quickly, and it was time to face separation. I chose to study medicine, and he chose physics. Yet we still couldn't separate from each other. Our parents worried that we didn't know anyone in Taipei, so they forced us to live in the same apartment building. Once again, we became neighbors. We still fought, but sometimes we fought into the bedroom. Alright, we became lovers, but we still wouldn't say we loved each other. We didn't even spend Valentine's Day together until he saw me share dinner with a man one Valentine's Day. That night, he waited for me in front of my door and said that he would take me out to dinner on Valentine's Day from then on. I have to say that he was very arrogant. But I nodded and accepted his request. Since then, we spent every Valentine's Day together. After graduation, I became an intern. He started a small computer company with some friends and became a programmer. We were busy with our own lives and had no time for a relationship. Three years later, I became a doctor, and his business began to boom. We separately moved to bigger
apartments and stopped being neighbors. On the surface, we left each other. In reality, we were still together. We spent every Valentine's Day together but each year became more dreary than the next because he never told me he loved me even with all my hints.
Facing the empty in-box, I suddenly grew very angry. He wouldn't say it and wouldn't send me a card. What did he mean? Who did he think I was? I called his cell phone.
"Hello." He picked up the phone.
"I didn't receive the card." I immediately showed my displeasure.
"You didn't receive it?" He seemed really busy. "But I sent it."
He was really busy but I didn't care. "I didn't receive it. Send it again."
"Okay, I'll send you 100 times. Is that good enough??" He said with impatience. His tone further infuriated me. Is that how lovers speak to each other?
"Don't bother sending it to me. And you don't have to pick me up tonight.
I'll eat dinner by myself."
"Don't be childish, ok? I'm really busy."
"I AM childish!" I hung up the phone and tears rolled down my cheeks.
Childish?? Why didn't he consider the situation? We've gone out for so many years and spent countless Valentine's Day together. I never received any flowers nor cards from him. Now, I just want a little e-card. Is that too much to ask for??
I unplugged the phone from the wall and turned off my cell phone. I didn't want to hear his explanations. After I returned to the hospital, I instructed the receptionist not to forward me any phone calls. I wanted to concentrate on work.
Because there were so many emergencies today, I was sweating 1 hour later and forgot about our argument.
"Dr. Shu, please take a look at that patient."
As I was collecting my equipment, the shrill sound of an ambulance sounded outside the ER. When I stepped out the door, the emergency medics hurriedly wheeled in a gurney.
"What happened to him?" I asked the 1st medic. Everyone else were trying to help put the patient on the gurney. He was covered with blood.
"Car accident." The medic replied. "Very serious. He may die."
I nodded and ran to the operating room with them. When I arrived, the nurses told me that the man had already stopped breathing and also his heartbeat also stopped
"Prepare for shock." I calmly instructed the nurses. Saving people is our duty. We can't lose our calm.
But when I saw who laid on the operating table, I lost my calm. That person was my boyfriend!
"No..." I stood in shock. "NO!!!" I grabbed the paddles and continuously shocked his body. His body bounced up and down from the shocks. The scared nurses went to find another doctor, to tell him that I was crazy.
I didn't know if I was crazy or not. I just wanted to save my lover. Even though we fought all the time. Even though he never showed me his love. I still wanted to save him. He still owed me a card. He couldn't die! I threw away the paddles and began to press on his heart. I pressed with all my strength, hoping it would revive him, but he didn't wake up. He didn't even say "It hurts". He just laid there with his eyes closed, punishing me with his silence.

Dr. Jian angrily pushed me away. By that time, I couldn't see clearly anymore. I cried. I wailed. I bowled until no sounds could come out of my mouth.
"It's too late, Dr. Shu. He's already dead. I'm sorry." Dr. Jian patted me on the shoulder. They knew each other and ate together once. I introduced them.

Part 3

"He can't die." I shook my head. "He can't die!!" I struggled to run to him.
"Dr. Shu, control yourself!" Dr. Jian slapped me. "I understand what you're going through, but you're a doctor."
Yes, I'm a doctor, but I'm also a regular person. How can Dr. Jian understand how I feel? I've loved him for so many years that it's become a habit. How can I just throw away a habit? Besides, he still owed me a card. "I want him to live! I want him to live!" I ran to him again and tried to knock the life back into his body.
"Take her away!" That day, I lost my control and my professionalism.
And that day happened to be Valentine's Day.
Afterwards, I asked his co-workers why he left work early that day.
They told me that after I hung up the phone, he tried to call me several times but couldn't reach me. Worried, he drove to the hospital to find me and got hit by a large truck on the way.
When I heard this, I froze. My tantrum killed him. Just because of an unmailed card, he died. After that, I lost my privilege to be childish.
Like an abandoned cat, I couldn't even cry anymore. After his death, I couldn't cry anymore, regardless of how touching the plot or how tear-jerking the dialogue. They didn't affect me anymore.
Now, I'm only left with a cat and a seldomly used computer. Stepping over the cat, I turned on the computer. Even though I know no one will send me a mail, I still hoped that someone will remember me on this day.
Meow, meow. I looked at Christine to see what's wrong. She finished her milk. I went into the kitchen to get her more milk then came back to look at the computer screen.
I have.... 100 emails! Who would be bored enough to send me 100 junk mail?
I was just about to delete them all when I received another mail, and this one said: "Because of system error, we could not send these until today.
We apologize for the delay." The sender was my ISP.
I looked at the 1st mail. It showed the send date is last year's Valentine's Day. My heart began to beat fast. Could he have sent these?
With a trembling hand, I opened the mail. The first thing that popped up was a gorgeous red rose set against green leaves. Then a beautiful melody began to play.... "Only Love". I couldn't believe it. The rose was so beautiful and the music was so dreamy. I almost thought I was in a fantasy. Most touching of all were the words underneath the rose, because the words read like a beautiful poem.
"Hwei."
That's my name.
"Knowing you so many years, I've never sent you any flowers. Today I send you a rose."
I received it and it's so beautiful.
"You know we are always fighting. We can never really open our hearts and tell each other how we feel."
Yes, but it's all your fault for being so distant.
"I know I always make you mad by the things I say."

Feng's finally done with the ACGC part time job. Came back with horrible scratches coz they were involved in an accident on the way back. Thank God no one was severely injured~

Worst thing for the day is, the person in charge DID NOT pay them (a few of my friends who went for the job) on the spot after the event as PROMISED. We were initially told that it's RM100 per day for 2 days to help on the event set up and tear down (I didn't go la coz they don't want girls -_-) at Mid Valley for the ACGC event. 12pm - 9pm for the first day (26/09/08) and 9am - afternoon for the second day (29/09/08).

One day before the event set up, a friend of mine who helped them to find part timers for this event suddenly informed us that they need to go to PJ to help load PCs (Eh how come not at Mid Valley mehhh?!!). I thought it was rather unfair as it wasn't mentioned initially but the boys being good natured people (or maybe it was because they were happily playing counter strike that day and were all in a good mood) agreed to help out (If it's me I would say goodbye to the organizers and ask them to go do the job themselves or pay me more. Yes, I am very realistic. What? Petrol to PJ no need money wan ah?). Fine, take it as a volunteer act then. BUT the worst has yet to come.

They had to work till 11++pm for the first day. No it wasn't because they were slacking or anything. It was due to poor time management by the person in charge. Few hours were spent waiting for the 'person in charge' to arrive (had to wait for his so-called 'instructions) which is why everything got DELAYED and they got back to Sungai Long so damn late by motor lehhh damnit so dangerous.

Hah! So you thought that was the end? Day 2 was spent for the event tear down. There were a few other part time workers besides my friends who went for the first day but didn't turn up for the next day. Oh so you're wondering 'like that also can ah? Then the rest mah work like hell?' Yeah sure, it works when you're related to the boss/person in charge (walao I dunno what phrase to use). AND they actually asked the part timers to go to PJ AGAIN.

None of them agreed of course (once bitten, twice shy darling, the boys are not dumb)

The person in charge then proceeded to say that it would not be fair as oni a few of them (Not all) went to load the PCs for the first day and said that he would only pay those who didn't load the PCs RM80 (for the first day I suppose). And so the group of boys argued that it isn't fair this way as well coz the initial job scope did not require them to go PJ and do any work. They then called up the friend (middle person) who introduced this job to work things out. A couple of calls were made here and there and all the confusion was basically due to miscommunication. Mr. Person in Charge finally allowed them to go back without going to PJ but he'll bank in the money to them and not pay them on the spot WTF!! So now the only thing is to wait and see when they'll bank in and how much the other group who didn't go to PJ for the first day will get.

I don't blame my friend who introduced the job coz she's the middle person and things are probably out of her control but to the person(s) in charge of the event?

Had dinner with Feng at a vegetarian restaurant near South City Plaza~He heard from a friend of this place and we just went and searched for it blindly. Turned out that it wasn't too hard to find :)

This was really good although I don't really fancy the mock meat pieces. Thank God they had it finely sliced~There were also bits of vegetarian salted fish (I think) in it which made the rice really aromatic ^^

Stir-Fried Broccoli and Mushroom~yummy!

Love how big the portion was unlike some other restaurants that only give you a few pieces of broccoli and fill the dish up with mock meat -.- This dish at Kam Yen didn't have a single piece of mock meat~YAY~! I'm a super big fan of broccoli and mushrooms so you know who had a larger portion of this dish ;)

Went to Restaurant Camp Forest (although I think it should be Camp Forest Restaurant no?) for dinner today. Xiao Long drove us there using his friend's car which he was really not used to so we were literally praying throughout the whole journey (especially Steven coz he was sitting in front hahahaa)~

Sat outside coz the tables and chairs are pretty (dumb choice)

After a few minutes of listening to the music and looking around, my legs started to feel itchy... There were tonnes of MOSQUITOES around!!! I've read some reviews on the restaurant and many said that mosquito coils were prepared and stuff but I certainly didn't see any at all. Even if there were mosquito coils hidden in some corner they obvioulsy don't work. Both of my legs were full of mosquito bites -________-

The waiter passed us the menu and I decided on a vegetable lagsana and mushroom soup. The waiter hesitated a while mumbling something to himself and walked off towards the kitchen. He came back after a moment and told me that both were unavailable! T_T

The rest then proceeded to make their orders while I was thinking of what to eat besides that God-damn-lagsana-that-I've-been-wanting-to-have-for-so-long *still very angry*. I thought it was really unlucky for me that both items that I wanted were unavailable but when the rest made their choices, almost all were not available too -___-

Xiao Long then jokingly asked the waiter to tell us what they have instead. And he pointed to a number of items that were unavailable. The mushroom sauce chicken chop was unavailable coz there were no mushrooms (which explains why my mushroom soup was unavailable also), the cheesey french toast was also unavailable because of dunno what reason, the salad was also unavailable, and some other items which I don't remember. It was pretty dissapointing. To top things up, the waiter served us with a "I-am-so-bored-and-I-hate-this-job" face plus he really mumbled along the way when taking our orders lor (No, it's not only me who realised, even the most un-yimjim boys agreed).

The Cappuccino-something-something (who on earth would remember the names larh) turned up to be totally different from the picture. There were no chocolate swrils and no wafer and when we questioned the waiter (this time it's a different one) about this, he merely shrugged and stood there blankly omg.

Up next was my big PLATE (yes, only the plate is big) of creamy fettuccine

and mashed potatoes

Can't really comment much on it coz it's only my second time having cream based pasta but I do recall the one at Pizza Hut tasting better. Felt that this one tasted rather bland despite the thick sauce. The mashed potatoes was really good though~melted in the mouth with a hint of saltiness that was not too overpowering.

Xiao Long ordered for the soup to be extra spicy coz he's a fan of anything hot, spicy, and reddish looking BUT when the bowl of soup arrived together with his rice...

It was as white as his rice.

Looking rather baffled, he took a sip and made a face. It was full of pepper. Yes, it's just pepper soup (with extra pepper to fulfill the extra spicy request). All of us took a sip and did not touch his dish again throughout the meal. It was really horrible and I simply cannot imagine that he really finished it. My fettuccine suddenly tasted really good lol.

Feng and Khar Haur ordered the same thing - Fish and Chips

The Fish and Chips was probably the most worthwhile dish for the night coz the portion was rather big and they were really generous with the fries and coleslaw. Feng didn't like the coleslaw so I gobbled it up ~~along with some of his fries and 'fish'~~.

I still wasn't full after that and ordered another plate of fried oyster mushroom which I really regretted. It was over-fried.

The bill totaled up to a RM12x.xx.

Citibank-UM Intervarsity Case Study Challenge 2008

Finally, the case study competition is over!

We somehow got into semi finals unexpectedly...

Yeah, it was unexpected because we kinda did the write up last minute~
Our thesis was near to its deadline and the whole team consists of members with 3 different timetables...and...my thesis team consists of a different group of members with 3 different timetables also!!! Didn't get to meet up with them much so I did really little for the case study thing. Sorry guys for all the unattended meet ups and also the times when I turned up super late :( Apologies to my thesis team members also for frequently rushing off to meet up on the other side... *kneels down with tea in hand*

28th August - Presentation of Giordano case study at UM as semi finalists

We were supposed to reach there by 8:30am but there was the Merdeka Celebration rehearsal thingy going on at KL and the traffic was like super slow! Seriously~All the cars were practically crawling like one inch every 15 minutes O_O (okla I'm exaggerating but the traffic was really really slow).

Mr. Ng fetched us there ler he's so damn nice lor! Look at the traffic!

Wen (I know her name is not spelled this way but this is the way it sounds haha) and Ling in the car

Reached there around 9am (I think) but the presentation has not started off yet and UM gave us leeway for being late (The organizers are super nice!)~

We were the 8th team to present and as we moved towards our seats I saw my secondary school friends who are studying in UM! They are one of the semi finalists too :)
Really great to see them after such a long time and I guess I was too busy chatting with them + being nervous for the presentation so no pics of them were taken wtf so damn regret -.-

The first team to present was really great and I guess it had most of us almost peeing in our pants... No pics either... I must be really nervous at that time until I forgot that I brought my camera swt

and when it was our turn to present I became super super nervous and practically mumbled everything that was written on the screen -_-
*sigh* after so many years of presentation and I'm still like that why lah

Our team was one of the 5 finalist!

We really didn't know if we should be happy or sad...
Ling actually just came back from Sabah on 26th and she's in an extremely exhausted state,
Wen already bought a bus ticket to go back to her hometown,
Lam Lam pink pink was still very shocked about being in the semi finals and
I was worrying about the unreplied customers' mails, stuff that has not been posted out, missing out on important information for IB on that day, Selvi's stuff that was still with me, and a couple of unreturned tutorials with friends that were going back to their hometown on that day...

and in case you're wondering why I'm worrying about all these stuff when I can easily go home and do all of them first...

NO, we don't get to go home! I'll explain about it later...

We will be given a new case study after we reach Eastin Hotel and answers are to be prepared and presented on the next day at the conference room. Handphones will be confiscated (They got return to us right before we present la haha) to prevent the finalists from getting help from others and laptops + supporting materials must be left in the conference room (we can work on our case there), i.e. we cannot being 'em back to our rooms.

Although the whole process was really exhausting and all of us had many sleepless nights, it was an eye opener and a great experience. There were many creative presentations and also many great presenters that I might have not been able to see if it weren't for this competition. Big thank you to Mr. Ng, Ms. Chui, Mr. Tee, and all my fellow team mates who made this happen =)

Steven and khar Haur wasn't at home, Li Feng busy with thesis pulak so ended up only we 3 ~~sampat~~ go out~

Driving skills not bad, reach Jusco very fast!

But we couldn't get a good showtime :(
reached there around 3:20pm but the nearest showtimes were either at 2++pm or 3pm
following ones were all around 5++pm

As we were deciding on what movie to watch (There was Star Wars at 5pm, La Lingerie ~~which only Brandon was extremely interested in~~ at 5:45pm, Mirror at 5:10pm), Shalini suddenly suggested on Mirror (horror movie lai de!!!)! and I don't know why me and Brandon (who freakin' pantang horror movies) agreed to it... -________-

and oh, the counter gal at Jusco TGV so nice! She gave Brandon student price!!!!

and I practically screamed throughout the whole movie (ok of course I did pause at times when I covered my eyes and missed some horribly scary scenes YAY!)

I guess it's really kinda funny to see me yell my lungs out while scaring the macho guy even more and making him squirm even more in his chair haha

so we actually attempted to run off before the lights were turned on and everyone could see the faces of the 3 budak bising

but Brandon stopped running halfway down coz he suddenly wanted to see the ending...
and we had to grab the nearest seat and continued watching the remaining part

everyone was probably wondering why they so suei bump into these 3 sampat persons

and right after they showed the closing credits, the 3 of us ran like hell out of the theater

until he felt really thirsty! :D

so he did a super turn from one ticket lane (I don't know what to call the lane where you wait to feed your parking ticket to the machine when going out) to another lane,
making me fly to one side hahahhahahaa nola I made this up. The machine in other lane wasn't working XD

Went to pasar malam after that to buy dinner ;)

and Brandon actually drove back using the reverse gear all the way until we reached the condo guard house hahahahahahaha

Had a really fun day!

We encouraged each other by saying "Yes, we can do it!"
and we are confident that we CAN do whatever we want to achieve!

Woke up at 2++pm, took a bath, felt hungry and was craving for spaghetti so I decided to drive to Yummy Bean at Bukit Tinggi~Parked the car, got down and as i dumped the coins into the parking ticket machine (whatever you call those), a young aunty told me "Saturday no need to pay" swt...I actually forgot about it!

Anywayyyyyyyy.... ~~Yummy Bean~~ (I just remembered that it's called Happy Happy something... Yummy Bean was the shop before it that sold almost the same food) closed down and it was replaced by another vegetarian shop (I didn't really see the shop name coz all I noticed is that the signboard color was different)!!!

*cries* I wanted to have spaghetti so badly!!!! T_____T Anyhow, I went in to have my breakfast + lunch (already paid the parking $$ lorrrrrrr, just eat there la)~Took 3 dishes and 1 rice and when I paid for it, lao ban niang said "RM2" O_O OMG SO CHEAP CAN! (but the portion's quite small)~

Had another plate of chicken rice after that and a glass of herbal tea~WHAT? I said the portion's quite small lorrr......... and partly because I was really starving XD The chicken rice was also RM2 only (I did repeatedly confirm with lao ban niang if it's RM2...Thought that she might have calculated wrongly or something) Everything totalled up to RM5 (omg I still cant believe it's so cheap! Sungai Long 1 pack of rice is already near to RM4!).

And as I was leaving the shop... ...

I notice that on the signboard itself was written "Every dish for RM2"

so I guess I must have sounded rather stupid when I confirmed with the lao ban niang on the price -.-""

Had discussion for CG presentation the other day but it turned out that we were fooling around with this photo software in Lee Sia's lappie~(Don't ask me what's the name of the software, I'm an IT idiot). The software provides some really cool effects and...............I'll just let the pictures do the talking 'cause I don't really know how to describe 'em -.-

I often get the reaction of "Eh? You do these stuff wan ah? Since when woh?" whenever my friends get to know that I create accessories~
I know I know, I don't look like someone who creates accessories right?
They're usually those delicate sweet patient girls who can sit down for hours to create accessories and I'm like...

the exact opposite?

Did I hear you say that?!!!! YOU wan die ah? Means I'm rough, bitter (wtf bitter lol), impatient, and my butt can't stick to the chair for more than 5 minutes larh?!
Oklah, I admit on the first 3 points (go substitute bitter with some other more cruel antonym la you mean person. Eh? Cruel and mean works also hor?) but I can really sit down for hours in front of my table and create accessories wan (I'm not lying la >: O you guys ask my house mates and see)

Alright, proof is here...
These are not done overnight, they evolved through a long time frame of dedicated self learning with many many trials and errors (I am pretty patient when it comes to CERTAIN THINGS ONLY hahHaAhHahaha)

The very first decent bracelet that I did (okay it might not be decent but can wear enough la, what you expect?)...

And then I learned how to make loops using headpins (albeit pretty cacat-ed ones XD)...

Somehow I got interested in bead weaving (Don't know if this is considered as bead weaving, but whatever larh, I'm too lazy to find out about the actual term)...

And then I made crystal bracelets! (weaving also?)

Got pretty tired of doing the same pattern and also, I fell in love with these pretty little charms!

Decided to customize~(you'll never know what 2 brains can come up with ;D)

Inspirations come from people, things, and the lovely nature surrounding me...

And they also come from feelings...

YAY! Charming Pieces is almost one month old ;) 9 more days to go baybeh~

Yeah! Finally~exams ended >_< didn't blog yesterday 'cause I was busy completing a customer's order (see, I'm so nice ler, sacrifice my after-exam-celebrations...Faster bow to my feet!!! *evil laughter fills the room* Alright, was just kidding, please don't kill me XD)

Anyway, met an old friend the day before moral exam. Was tahpau-ing Pan Mee for Shalini when all out of a sudden someone behind me shouted "OII!" VERY VERY loudly. I wanted to turn behind and shout back "Oi what? So big lane cannot jalan ah?!" ('cause I was standing at a lane...eh...but got few steps of stairs wan woh, called lane also ah? wtf whatever la, and I thought I was blocking someone's way out). Now that I come to think of it, why would a person who wants a little space to get out say "OI" huh? Ugh... I'm getting retarded by studying moral... -.-

Alright, back to the point. Actually that cilaka friend who almost made me deaf was meeting up with another friend (hmmph! Never call me and Li Feng out also~Okla, forget us liao la...This kind of friend also got >: O ) when he suddenly spotted us and waved frantically from his seat BUT we didn't notice him at all :p (What to do, who ask you so bad never call us out!). So he mah come out and talk to us lor, else everyone will think he's crazy waving towards the air hahahahaha~

Aunty Brought Us to Jusco

Hehehehe ... went to Jusco again on Wednesday. Brandon asked us if we wanted to follow him as there was a sales going on or something (see, proof No.1 of aunty act --- always aware of sales). And he actually said that if it's like a mega sales then we can help him to grab stuff -.- (proof No.2 of aunty act --- grab as much as you can when stuff are cheap!). It ended up that there wasn't much stuff that's like super cheap...most of those tagged 50-70% were things that we don't actually need *sobs*.

Brandon wanted to head to the supermarket section to see if anything there's worth buying (proof No.3 of aunty act --- always remember to go to the supermarket section to hunt for sales on groceries) but I wanted to get something from Memory Lane, so he and Shalini teman-ed me there (Poor Brandon, he looked so bored when I was busy choosing ribbons~Alright, he wasn't that bored actually 'cause Shalini caught him checking out chicks hahaha).

Got myself some lovely ribbons from Memory Lane (don't you just love those pretty ones with patterns? *holds on to newly bought ribbons as if they are diamonds*<3<3). I've actually wanted to get that gorgeous pink one with heart patterns on it during the last time I went there but Li Feng said I'll just be wasting money on pieces of fabric *points finger at Li Feng and shouts: How dare you call my precious ribbons pieces of fabric?!*.

Right after that we followed aunty Brandon to the supermarket section to see if he needed any help in grabbing stuff that was on sales :D . He bought more tomatoes -.- despite having like boxes of it at home already (proof No.4 of aunty act --- stock on fresh vegetables or fruit or whichever category tomatoes are supposed to be in). He actually chose them for very long leh, kept saying "This box got a lot of water la, that box pulak like green green not nice the color" (okok, I know I took quite long to choose the ribbons also). And, the worst part is, he went and korek all the boxes that were placed really deep inside to see if there are any nicer ones! HAHA, sorry lah Brandon, bocorkan all your rahsia (proof No.5 of aunty act --- dig into those placed far inside as they are usually the newest stocks. Okay, this applies to me also as I do 'occasionally' do that).

After paying for the stuff three of us went for ice-creams! :) YAY~! and the rest of what happened later on can be read at Shalini's blog (malas to continue la) here.

P/s: Brandon please don't kill me for posting this. To everyone out there, he's actually a super nice kor kor who always brings us out 'cause see us so kesian stay at home everyday (kena bodek sikit else next time go out kena dump halfway on highway then mati :p)

Just in case you're wondering what that froggie is, (No, it's not my bath time toy) it's a gift from Wrey --- very very useful wrist support! My weird way of holding the mouse have been giving me pains in the wrist area and I don't know how she got to know it (I didn't mention it to anyone as far as my extremely small capacity brain can serve me), but this little thing she gave me is really really just what I wanted! Probably that's what we call sixth sense eh? ;D

Finally OD is over...out of the thousands of models and steps only a few came out -.- and I practically crapped through that few due to the fact that my brain became so overloaded that right before the exam it went blank! See la, this is what happens to those who does last minute revision...padan muka betul

Conclusion? Of course it's dominated by me now!

Anyway, went to Jusco the other day just to... errr... walk around?

Had dinner but yet still felt hungry go I got myself an apple pie and *ahem* stole some of Li Feng's fries :D

Bought some seaweed and we headed back but it was raining =___= super suei day!
